About Us
Our Story
From 1996
The name 96 To Infinity is more than a brand — it’s a promise,
a tribute, and a mission.

Our story begins in 1996, a year that changed everything for
our cofounder, Brian Carlos Sanchez. While studying art at
Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California,
Brian met Emiliano “Emi” Morales — a fellow artist and, at
first, a friendly rival. Their shared love for comics turned into
collaboration when Emi introduced Brian to an indie publisher
looking for talent. Together with another student, Mike
Kidakarn, they spent countless hours creating comics for free,
fueled only by passion and big dreams.

That summer, the trio attended their first San Diego Comic-Con. Before parting ways, Emi told Brian he was heading to Yosemite with friends. Days later — on July 10, 1996 — tragedy struck:
a rockslide claimed Emi’s life. He was just 19.

Brian’s world shattered. He dropped out of college, abandoned comics, and stepped away from the dream they shared. But time has a way of calling us back. Decades later, Brian returned to the world of storytelling — determined to finish what he and Emi started.

96 To Infinity honors that commitment. The “96” represents the year Emi’s life was cut short. “Infinity” symbolizes the enduring legacy of friendship, creativity, and the stories that live on.
Every project we create carries that spirit forward — for Emi, for the dream, and for everyone who believes in the power of imagination.

From 1996 to infinity — we’re here to tell stories that never end.

To Infinity
96 To Infinity Studios is the brainchild of two high school
friends, Brian Carlos Sanchez and Rick Gutierrez. What began
as a reconnection during the Texas winter storm of 2021
quickly evolved into a creative mission: to revive, rewrite, and
reimagine ideas conceived 30 years ago for the 21st-century
comic book scene.

From that moment forward, we committed to building a comic
book universe that inspires, entertains, and endures. Today,
96 To Infinity Studios operates out of Las Vegas, NV, and Fort
Worth, TX, creating original comics that push boundaries and
celebrate imagination. Our flagship titles include:

-
Strikebuster Terra X: Ancient myths and advanced AI technology collide when a humble fisherman from a coastal Philippine village becomes the unlikely pilot of the world’s most advanced super robot.
-
The O.G. Puff: Set in 1996 Los Angeles, a reformed gang member turned local hero must protect his adopted family after a secret government agency, a fraternal cult, and a self-proclaimed psychic cholo are all convinced he’s the prophesied harbinger of the apocalypse.
-
The Lucky 7: When a former elite operative discovers that the covert government agency he once served is abducting and experimenting on children, he assembles an unlikely team — a female ninja, a high school princess and her protective brother, a robot assassin, and an alien warrior — to rescue a child tied to his mysterious past and expose the dark, twisted truth behind the agency’s enigmatic director.
-
The Mighty Might White: A socially awkward department store worker becomes the reluctant host of an alien bindling sent to signal Earth’s destruction — only to forge an unlikely bond that could redeem them both and save the planet.

And this is just the beginning. With four series in development and more on the horizon, we’re building a comic book universe where creativity knows no limits. Our mission is simple: to take our stories from ’96 to infinity!
